For eight years I was a mechanical engineer earning six figures. On paper, I was doing fine. Then COVID hit, and I realised the moment I stopped working, my income stopped too. I tried everything to fix that: stocks, forex, crypto, freelancing, e-commerce. Then a friend pointed out the equity sitting in my own house, just from living in it. That's when it clicked.
